Know Your MC: Brianna Seidel, Analyst, Services

Before coming to Momentum Commerce, what was your experience in the e-commerce space?

I have always been interested in retail, but in the past had only had experience with inventory management and the operational supply chain side of the industry. I have a deep interest in the transformation of traditional retail through technology and data, and felt like e-commerce was the space for me!

What made you want to make the jump to Momentum Commerce?

I knew I wanted an opportunity to interact directly with clients and concentrate on establishing and nurturing those connections. Envisioning myself in an agency setting, I discovered MC and saw it as the perfect fit for my goals!

How would you describe the journey so far?

This journey has been exciting and so much fun! I have been given so many opportunities to explore my strengths and take ownership of many different initiatives. In this role, I have learned to be comfortable with asking questions and relying on the team members around me. I have adopted the mindset of, “We are not working toward one single solution, but rather embracing how we each approach the problem differently.’

What’s your favorite work memory?

While I can’t pinpoint a specific memory, I love our #mc-ladies Slack thread! I’ve never had such a safe and inviting space like this in previous roles, and I always love getting to catch up with the ladies of MC!

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

I am a big reader, enjoy embroidering, love exploring antique stores, and taking care of plants!

What’s a fact about you that might surprise some people?

I used to ride horses (think Western-style barrel racing!) for a large portion of my life!
