Momentum Commerce has announced another suite of new features for our Digital Shelf Analytics (DSA) platform, and our internal team structures. Each of these improvements is designed for data-driven brands looking to compete at the highest level on Amazon, including an even more comprehensive suite of market intelligence tools to better understand and react to Amazon trends. 1. Amazon Sales Forecast Dashboard

  • The newest free tool provides monthly Amazon US retail sales forecasts across hundreds of Amazon categories through the end of 2024. Amazon-specific category growth is often difficult to ascertain when strategizing for the year ahead, but the Amazon Sales Forecast Dashboard incorporates multiple sources of Amazon US retail data into the underlying model to provide reliable forecasts, including accounting for any seasonality.
  • The Amazon Sales Forecast Dashboard currently projects Amazon US retail sales to reach $641.3 billion in 2024, an increase of 19.9% or $106.6 billion YoY.

2. Content Alerting Tool (Internal)

  • Our internal teams will now benefit from a content alerting tool designed to serve two primary purposes: offering a day-to-day overview of PDP content changes for specific ASINs, and maintaining a record of changes already made to ASINs.
  • Each day, an automatic alert will inform our teams of any modifications, providing detailed information down to the exact time when an ASIN changed.
  • This new alerting tool will empower our teams to be more proactive in terms of content planning, and react quickly in the case of unapproved changes to product detail pages by resellers!


3. Keyword Translation Tool (Internal)

  • Many Amazon brands operate across multiple languages, and the process of translating keywords can be daunting. Amazon offers a keyword translation service, but the team sought to find a quick and reliable method for translating a large volume of keywords at once.
    • The team was successfully able to perform bulk-list translations, with checks to ensure the translations made sense within the new language. 
    • Our data scientists have effectively implemented this method, contributing to the seamless incorporation of keyword additions for clients in different languages at scale.
